Facebook is more or less the king of the world when it comes to social networking. It has exploded outwards which such speed as it allowed users to post their thoughts, images, join fan clubs, find long lost friends and create many a school reunion.

Software giant Microsoft recently admitted that a vulnerability exists in its Internet Explorer browsing software. It allowed hackers to attack human rights organisations, prompting Google to reconsider its Chinese operations. Recently, the German and French governments have urged users to upgrade or use a different browser.

It seems that version 6 of the browser was the cause so you can quickly check with version you have installed by opening your IE browser, go to help in the toolbar and click “about Internet Explorer”. This will list the browser version you have downloaded.  You can upgrade to version 7 or the latest version 8 but why not check some of the other browsers on offer like Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome.
